In January 2020, Smartlog Supply Chain Solutions Corporation collaborated with CMA CGM Vietnam, which is one of the world’s largest shipping company, to launch Container Container Solutions (COS). Goals of this project are digitizing processes, reducing manual processes and complex documents, reducing logistics waste, resulting in contributing to further development of Vietnam logistics.
The platform provides solutions to optimize the use of empty containers via three main products: MT-REUSE, MT-MOVE and MT-RENTAL, in which MT-REUSE was first launched and is also the mainstay solution in optimizing empty containers.
MT-REUSE was launched in the mission of saving cost, travel time and empty lift-on/off by re-using unstuffed import container to back-back export.
For MT-MOVE products: customers can request to exchange depot for return inbound/outbound accordance to demands in purpose of saving costs, reducing congestion time and avoiding rush hour.
With MT-RENTAL (expected to be launched in early September 2020): customers can increase the efficiency of transportation in term of container platform which provides competitive prices from the numerous of transport suppliers.
The COS is going to contribute to reduce logistics waste and serve the greatest satisfaction to customers. This is the foundation to provide the first and only solution to optimize the use of containers on the Vietnamese market at the moment. This platform is the first solution foundation in optimizing container performance in Vietnam.
