Recently, Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Committee Vo Trong Hai has allowed Vinhomes to finance the planning of 1/2000 scale for heavy industry subdivision CN4, CN5 as a project of a car factory combined with a seaport 2,000 ha in Vung Ang economic zone.
Vinhomes is committed to providing quality products, meeting the full requirements of the Management Board of the economic zone of Ha Tinh province and ensuring 10% of the funding in the planning process. In addition, this enterprise also commits not to claim funding even if it is not selected as an investor to implement the project.
Leader of Ha Tinh province assigns the Management Board of the provincial economic zone to assume the prime responsibility and coordinate with relevant units to organize the selection of a competent planning consultancy unit to comply with regulations and in line with development orientations local authority, submit to competent authorities for appraisal and approval.
Proposed construction of combinatorial automobile factory
In April 2021, Vinhomes had proposed to the leader of Ha Tinh province to survey the construction of a complex of automobile factories including Vinfast automobile factory, a chain of factories producing auxiliary components for the automotive industry and high-tech audiovisual equipment.
Along with that, Vinhome will build a general seaport, logistics area which serves the needs of sea transportation for factories, and build a hotel resort.
The project has a scale of 2,000 hectares in the Vung Ang economic zone in Ky Anh town. In which, the land area is 1,500 ha and the sea surface area is 500 ha. It is expected that phase 1 will be built within 2 years from the date of issuance of the construction permit, phase 2 will be built after 3-5 years of operation of phase 1.
Currently, the Vinfast auto factory complex, which has an area of 335 hectares located in Dinh Vu industrial zone, Cat Hai, Hai Phong, includes the operator’s office, electric motorcycle manufacturing area, car manufacturing area, supporting industrial park, training center and R&D institute. Both the car factory and the electric motorcycle factory have a designed capacity of 38 vehicles/hour.
