Storing things in self-managed warehouses: Convenient and effective
Self-storage (also known as self-service storage, or mini-storage) is a service industry, focusing on storage space (such as rooms, lockers, containers, storage space and outdoor space) that is rented (short or long term depending on needs) to individuals or businesses.
V-Box provides a mini warehouse for families who need a place to store household items that take up a lot of space. Rarely used items or oversized furniture are no longer suitable for a new residence or temporary storage of furniture when building, repairing or changing a house.
This service is also aimed at providing businesses with temporary storage when moving offices, returning premises or storing long-term records or as long-term warehouses to store goods. For hot, dusty and humid weather sensitive goods such as files, papers, alcohol, pictures, electronics, etc. service will be all provided with suitable cool storage.
Mr. Le Tuan Linh – representative of V-Box Self Storage shared: “V-Box Self Storage meets these diverse needs for all individuals and families, especially apartment owners. We also provide convenient packaging and shipping services for our customers. Documents and goods stored in the warehouse are locked with the owner’s private key. Customers enter and exit the warehouse by magnetic card. The entire warehouse area has a surveillance security camera system and security guards are always on duty.
The trend of storing things in self-managed warehouses is blooming in Vietnam
Vietnam ranks highly for economic performance in Southeast Asia. Socio-economic development leads to an increase in the urbanization rate, which is estimated from 40.4% in 2020 to 50% in 2030. Urban space is expanded, apartments and office buildings. The proliferation of high-rise buildings means that the living and working space of each individual is gradually narrowed, giving way to modernity and comfort.
Especially in key urban areas, where large projects of the country and Southeast Asia are concentrated, open job opportunities promote the increase of per capita income. This is the premise for changes in shopping spending habits of urban people. The demand for shopping increases while the area of houses and offices is limited, leading to a shortage of space to live, work and relax, therefore came the rise of the self-managed storage industry.
