Serious traffic jam at the border gate
According to statistics on February 19, the border gates in Lang Son are leading in the list of localities with “standing still” truck traffic at the border gate with 4,190 vehicles. In which, 3 areas with vehicle traffic of more than 1,000 include: Dong Dang station (1,198 vehicles), Coc Nam border gate (1,138 vehicles) and Huu Nghi international border gate (1,075 vehicles).
Standing in second and third place are Lao Cai and Quang Ninh with 2,044 and 1,589 vehicles respectively. Specifically, Lao Cai station (Lao Cai province) has up to 1,022 trucks and the international road border gate No. II Kim Thanh is congested with 879 vehicles.
