Provide Amazon-like logistics services in Latin America
ClicOH is a technology startup operating in the field of fulfillment and shipping in Argentina, Mexico, Chile and Uruguay. Through one dashboard, clicOH’s proprietary technology allows merchants to track shipments in real-time, with key metrics and traceability. Their customers are of all sizes, from the “big” like AB inBev and Red Bull, to the small merchants on the Shopify e-commerce platform.
CEO Novillo Saravia believes that the problem of developing logistics for e-commerce can only be solved with data and efficiency. Fortunately, the business’s asset-light model has given them 100% penetration of the markets in which they operate. This helps clicOH identify consumer behavior, thereby storing inventory corresponding to demand.
As a result, since launching the current business model in 2020, the company has made significant progress. Every 20 seconds clicOH delivers a new package. So far, the number of packages that clicOH has to handle each month has increased to about 30% and the revenue in the first quarter is 6 times higher than the same period in 2021. Not only that, the number of employees has now increased to 175 people, more than four times more than a year ago.
The race to develop e-commerce infrastructure
E-commerce is an $85 billion business in Latin America and is expected to double in the next three years. Because of that, consumers will increasingly demand more about receiving goods on time and properly packing goods.
This is a golden time for startups to raise capital to develop e-commerce infrastructure in this market. According to reports, 99minutos secured $82 million in Serie-C financing for route optimization and pick-up and drop-off services in March. And Cubbo completed a seed round in November to turn the city space into a distribution hub for quick deliveries. And Skydropx is developing a delivery system with hundreds of customizable shipping options.
Meanwhile, Novillo Saravia intends to use the new funding to further expand the scale of clicOH throughout Latin America, including the Colombian market. “We are also developing an entire ecosystem where e-commerce merchants can develop sustainable businesses, including new products that strengthen our partnerships with others,” said the CEO. seller.”
