Decisions from supply chain crisis
The international freight industry is in disarray, underperforming status, and experiencing a severe container crisis. While large shippers have the power to negotiate rates directly with carriers and multinational forwarding companies, small and medium-sized enterprises do not have that ability and are left behind in the competition racing on international shipping. However, small and medium enterprises account for nearly 40% of India’s total exports and 6.11% of the national GDP and account for 24.63% of GDP in the service sector.
Recognizing that difficulty, Tiger Logistics plans to launch a supply chain automation platform to ensure the efficiency and transparency of the severely disrupted transportation industry. The company says it will combine cargo finance and insurance services, along with other features on the platform when the pilot phase begins, all to build a one-stop solution for all shipping problems.

Rescue for the transport industry
According to a statement from Tiger Logistics, this new platform will provide cross-border solutions for sea and air shipments along with first-mile, last-mile delivery, and customs clearance. The company’s goal is to build a customer base of small and medium businesses across the Indian market so that they can have a great experience with this project.

Harpreet Singh Malhotra, director of Tiger Logistics, said: “Technology is at the forefront of the current era. If you want to stay in business, shipping can’t be left behind. This new digital platform will help importers and exporters book ships instantly, automate the documentation process, track their shipments and manage all payments on a single platform.”
Furthermore, the platform fully displays real-time pricing information and provides quick access to shipment information. Promises that this will be a new step in the supply chain, breaking the existing manual rules about operating the freight industry.
Tiger Logistics will launch its project first in India and then in some developing countries, providing access to fast shipping to more than 63 million SMEs across the country.
