On Mar 30th, Bamboo Airways’ representative shared that the airline had been given a slot to operate direct flights to LHR from May 2021 by the UK Airports Council.

These flights are scheduled to land at 15:30 and take off at 17:40, picking up and dropping off passengers at Terminal No. 2 of LHR airport.

The representative of Bamboo Airways also told the press that the airline would utilize its fleet of wide-body Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner for this new route. They are confident that there is temporarily little direct competition regarding this service.
